Bard’s Buildings and Grounds Department provides routine maintenance to prevent maintenance and mold concerns, and Bard’s Environmental Services Department cleans residence hall common areas on a daily basis. Buildings and residence hall rooms are inspected multiple times per year. If you believe that you have mildew or mold in your residence hall room, please complete a work order as soon as possible so the issue can be addressed as quickly and effectively as possible.

All cleaning requests, comments, or concerns should be directed to Environmental Services. Environmental Services is responsible for cleaning public spaces and common areas in all campus facilities. Student rooms and personal items used in public spaces, particularly bathroom supplies and cooking utensils, are the responsibility of the students. We ask that students wash dirty dishes/pans after use so we can properly clean kitchens.  Please do not leave personal items such as soaps, shampoos, razors, etc. in shared bathrooms so we can properly clean.  If you have questions or comments about our services, what we do and don't do, or general comments, please call or email us, we want to hear from you!
