The office of Quantitative Literacy, within the Bard Learning Commons, provides academic tutoring and assistance in mathematics and related quantitative skills for all appropriate courses taught at Bard. Peer tutoring is available for all science, mathematics, computer science, economics, and statistics courses. Students may request one-on-one online tutoring appointments by email at [email protected], then students will be put in contact with tutors directly.
The Office of Quantitative Literacy also manages the online Math Placement taken by incoming students. Students who have difficulty on the algebra or precalculus sections may want to consider taking one of the Math Workshops offered by BLC; please contact Japheth Wood at [email protected] to discuss this.
