When school is in session, a free shuttle service is available on campus, to Red Hook, and to Tivoli, from morning through evening, seven days a week. In addition, shuttles are also available to the Hudson Valley Mall on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Once a semester we have a trip to Woodbury Commons.
Transportation is also available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to and from the Poughkeepsie (MetroNorth) and Rhinecliff (Amtrak) railroad stations. Special train shuttles are available for opening of school, Thanksgiving break, winter intersession, spring break, and school closing. In addition, Bard also offers shuttles to JFK/LaGuardia and Albany airports at the beginning of the aforementioned breaks and costs only $35 per ticket. Unless otherwise specified, all trips leave from the Kline South Bus Stop. Scheduling information is available for all of the above shuttles at http://blogs.bard.edu/transportation/.
