Research FellowWe are seeking to hire a Research Fellow in the research program on Gender Equality and the Economy. The fellow is expected to collaborate with other Levy researchers on an ongoing research project examining issues of intrahousehold power relations and poverty using the framework of the Levy Institute Measure of Time and Income Poverty. The geographical focus of the research is sub-Saharan Africa.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in economics or should be at an advanced stage of completing their Ph.D. (ABD). A strong background in econometrics and data analysis using software such as STATA is required. We prefer those with knowledge in the areas of microeconometrics, feminist economics, labor economics and economic development in Africa.
The appointment will be from November 1, 2019, to August 15, 2020, with potential for extension depending on funding.
