Administrative Assistant, Buildings and Grounds

The Administrative Assitant for Building and Grounds supports the department in the day-to-day work of the front office, ensuring effective customer service for students, faculty, staff and the broader community.  This is a full-time, in person position.

Essential Duties:
  • Support work order process
  • Employee record maintenance
  • Manage utility database for College facilities
  • Create monthly vouchers for utilities
  • Issue keys for summer groups and incoming students
  • Provide walk-in, email, and phone support to students, faculty, staff.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and positive environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associates degree, or training and experience directly related to job requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Knowledge of Millennium and FMS work order system a plus).  
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully and courteously, both externally and internally, with a diverse community.
  • Must be skilled at task shifting and adjusting focus in a dynamic environment.
  • Organizational skill, efficiency and accuracy in maintenance of records
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Salary:  $23 - $25 hourly
