Job Description

The Computer Science program at BHSEC Manhattan offers introductory courses for our high school and college students. The successful applicant will teach a project-based computer science course during our Summer Scholars Experience, a program that enables our rising 9th and 10th graders to take additional classes to acclimate themselves to our school’s expectations, and form crucial bonds with each other and our faculty/staff. The role will require a commitment of working 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, from July 8th through August 1st. Please note that there are tentative 7:00 am - 7:30 pm schedules on Fridays, July 19th and 25th due to trips.

Although the students will be BHSEC Manhattan pupils, the location of the program is being moved to BHSEC Queens, located at 30-20 Thomson Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101.

Compensation: The compensation for this position is $5,200. Application review will begin immediately and will proceed until the position is filled.
