Bard College seeks an Assistant Director of Admission to join the Admission department. The Assistant Director of Admission manages planning and follow-up of recruitment activities including high/secondary school visits, college fairs, prospective family and counselor receptions, admitted student and family events and individual meetings and interviews for assigned geographic areas. Secondary responsibilities include new recruitment program development and implementation, and other duties as assigned.

Fall recruitment takes place from September through November (sometimes starting in August) and spring recruitment takes place from March through May with occasional travel for fairs, trainings, and conferences during the summer months. The regions that this representative is responsible for are focused primarily on travel areas within the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Additional travel and reading support outside of these regions may be assigned as needed.

About Bard:

Bard College is a private institution working in the public interest. Bard faculty and staff lead their students by example, building upon the existing network of boundary-breaking programs focused on rethinking who can and should be included in a liberal arts education.
