Dr. Alice Ensabella is Assistant Professor at the University of Grenoble where she teaches Contemporary Art History. Ensabella’s research focuses on Parisian and American art market in the interwar years, especially on Surrealist and Metaphysical art. In her talk, she will present the work of the two Italian Metaphysical artists, the brothers Giorgio de Chirico and Alberto Savinio, and underline the influence that their oeuvre had on French Surrealism during the Twenties.6:00 pm – 8:00 pm EDT/GMT-4
