Exhibition: Unissued Diplomas. Never Graduated, Eternally Honored.
Runs through Sunday, March 3, 2024
Fisher Studio Arts Building
“Unissued Diplomas” is an international project aimed at commemorating the students whose lives were taken by the russian invasion. The exhibition honors the memory of 40 Ukrainian students who will never graduate because their lives were taken by the russian full-scale invasion that started on February 24, 2022. In 2023, the project organized 110 exhibitions across 24 countries. While we wish we could stop at this point, russia does not cease launching missiles, we have no choice but to persist in our mission, ensuring that the stories of our peers are not forgotten. “Unissued Diplomas” aims to remind the world about the ongoing war and the price Ukrainians pay daily in their fight for freedom. From the evening of February 22nd to March 3rd Ukrainians at Bard welcome you to visit the exhibition at Fisher Studio Arts building here at Bard. For more information, call 845-758-6822.
