Are you a pre-health/pre-med student? Are you interested in applying to medical school one day and looking to gain some hands-on experience while studying at Bard? Learn about becoming a local Medical Scribe.
When: Wednesday, October 7
Information Table: 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Campus Center Lobby
*Informational Interviews: 2:00 – 5:00 PM, Campus Center Lounge
Information Session: 5:00 – 6:00 PM, Campus Center 214
*If you are interested in having an informational interview to meet one-on-one with the recruiter and learn more about these opportunities, please email [email protected] to sign up. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
PhysAssist Medical Scribes recruits, hires, and trains part-time and full-time medical scribes for Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, as well as for other Hudson Valley medical facilities.
As a Medical Scribe you get to:
-Work side by side with physicians as they see patients
-Document the patient history, observe physical exams, procedures, and diagnostic tests
-Learn valuable Medical Terminology
-Record X-ray and lab tests
-Prepare plans for follow up care
