Join us on a visit to Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in New York City.

Learn about careers in social justice, human rights and advocacy during this all-day visit to Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the ACLU in New York City. Bard Alumni/ae, Parents and friends are hosting these visits where students can learn about:
- career paths in these fields
- internships and entry-level jobs
- application advice
- networking opportunities with staff
- and more!
You will hear from young and seasoned professionals at both organizations and there will also be opportunities to network. Both organizations currently have internships and entry-level opportunities posted on their websites. Opportunities exist across several different departments: education/community outreach, communications, clinical/medical, public policy/advocacy, LGBT rights, immigrants rights, racial justice, criminal law reform, development, grants, and more. REGISTRATION & $10.00 FEE:
Space is limited and registration is required. First-come, first-served. Follow the link below to complete the registration. Once you have registered, you must bring $10 to Rachel Meyer at BGIA ([email protected]) in order to save your seat. The $10 will be returned to all attendees once we arrive at the first visit. If you do not bring in your $10 prior to the event, we will need to release your spot.

Please be sure you check your schedule before signing up. This is an all-day trip, so if you have class or an internship on Friday, you will need to miss them in order to attend.
