The class will be introducing and displaying their Geographic Information System (GIS) posters this Friday. Students spent their spring semester exploring the various spatial analysis methods used by scientists, planners, and public-policy makers to improve the understanding and management of our world. They learned the fundamentals of modeling, data analysis, mapping, and conducting an environmental-impact assessment using geospatial technologies. Students used these skills for various research projects that are showcased in the upcoming poster session.10:00 am EDT/GMT-4
