Come learn about the possibility of up to $20,000 in scholarship aid via the Boren program (at the undergraduate or graduate level)!
• Are you a U.S. citizen interested in a career in government service/international affairs?• Want to study a foreign language abroad in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or other regions outside of Western Europe?
• Already studying Arabic, Russian, Chinese, French, or Japanese here at Bard and working towards fluency?
Boren Program Representative Kyle Cox will detail all of the possibilities and requirements for applying for a Boren Scholarship (for juniors) or Fellowship (for graduate students) for studies in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions less commonly visited by American study abroad students. Language fluency is a key goal of the program: Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, French (in Africa), and other languages.
Also meet Bard’s first Boren Scholarship recipient, Global and International Studies major (with Middle East Studies concentration) Tonery Rogers and learn about her plans!
