A two day symposium on acts of violence and how they are framed by the lens
Several screenings of recent films made about crime, racism and violence in the United States, including discussions with filmmakers, Travis Wilkerson, Jackie Goss, Richard Rowley, Jacquie Soohen, and Film History Critic in Residence, Ed Halter. Also, a presentation by Visiting Professor of Writing and Photography, Luc Sante, regarding his book about crime scene photography in the early 1900's in NYC.Thursday, October 12 - 7pm - 10:30pm
