Rosemary Armao
In 2017, investigative journalist Rosemary Armao left her post as the head of the journalism program at the University at Albany and began working with the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project and Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism in Jordan.
Macaela J. Bennett
Macaela Bennett is a staff analyst for NewsGuard, based in its New York City office. She worked previously as a business reporter and podcaster for Hearst Connecticut Media, covering Greenwich, Connecticut. Earlier, Bennett was a Pulliam Fellow reporting on politics and government at the Arizona Republic. She also covered local politics for the Tennessean in Nashville, and had internships at northern Michigan weekly newspaper the Mackinac Island Town Crier, the Leadership Institute, and the East Peoria Times Courier. Bennett graduated from Hillsdale College.
Liz Boyd ’17
Liz Boyd is a freelance fact-checker for magazines including New York, Foreign Affairs, and Elle. She was previously an editorial intern at the Nation magazine. As a Bard student, Boyd was an editor of the Draft and a TLS scholar. She graduated in 2017 with a joint major in human rights and cultural anthropology.
