Bard College Berlin - Seminar Room 11, Kuckhoffstr. 24, 13156 Berlin
10:45 am – 12:15 pm EST/GMT-5
10:45 am – 12:15 pm EST/GMT-5
A talk by Markus Graebig (Project Director Windnode) and Ingo Uhlig (Uni Halle / TU Berlin)
They will introduce us to their collaboration on the energy transformation and its social and cultural impact, focussing on a variety of interdisciplinary initiatives that seek to make the idea of energy and its role in society more immediately graspable. Among these projects are: "Energy & Art,” a visual art exhibition that reflects the energy transition; the blog “E-stories,” which tracks the cultural history and literary engagements with energy technologies; and the online atlas “Artwork Earth,” documenting artworks that deal with ecological developments, climate change and the question of natural resources.
The guest talk takes place in connection to the seminars Global Citizenship and Performing the Anthropocene led by Ramona Mosse
