The Constitution, Aaron Sorkin, and The West Wing: Let’s Argue
Monday, September 13, 2021
Campus Center, Multipurpose Room
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm EDT/GMT-4
What can Aaron Sorkin—writer of The West Wing, The Social Network, The Newsroom, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and so much more—teach us about the Constitution? Plenty. Like the Constitution, Sorkin’s shows and movies are, among other things, about how we argue with each other.4:00 pm – 5:00 pm EDT/GMT-4
Doug Mishkin is a lawyer, singer-songwriter, and frequent lecturer. In the spring of 2021, he taught The Values of Aaron Sorkin: The West Wing and Beyond for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
