East of West, the Fifth Annual China Now Music Festival
The opening concert of the 2022 the China Now Music Festival takes us to the streets, alleyways, and majestic outskirts of Beijing with a program featuring selections from Guo Wenjing’s opera Rickshaw Boy, Ye Xiaogang’s powerful Great Wall Symphony, and Russian-born Jewish American composer Aaron Avshalomov’s Hutongs of Peking. Jindong Cai conducts The Orchestra Now and guest soloists.More information HERE
