A conversation and shared meal led by Joshua Livingston
Explore the cultural, economic, and artistic expressions in place-making through the cooking and sharing of food with barbecue. Join us for a discussion on how barbecue came to the U.S., particularly its roots in shared practices of Native American and enslaved African communities, led by Joshua Livingston. Through learning and sharing food together, we reopen the possibilities of connection and care through shared food practices. For more information, call 860-992-6472, or e-mail [email protected].
