Peer Counselor Recruitment Information

The Peer Counselor (PC) is a paraprofessional undergraduate staff member of both the Dean of Student Affairs Office and the Office of Residence Life & Housing reports directly to an Area Coordinator (ACs). PCs play an integral part in the overall operation of the residence halls.  Primarily, the PC is concerned with the success of each individual on their floor/area and the building community as a whole.  Additionally, PCs are continually striving to enhance the quality of the academic environment within the residence halls.  However, additional responsibilities may depend on the needs of a particular area to which the PC is assigned. We reserve the right to move the placement of a PC based on the needs of the campus community.
