Just north of the Resnick Commons and south of Robbins House, the Cruger Village residences enclose around a tight quad. The Cruger residential community also includes Hirsch and Tremblay, further east on Campus Road.

    Oberholzer Hall
    Oberholzer, or OberHome as it is known by residents, is a mid-sized hall on the north edge of Cruger Village.

    This ruby gem serves as the entrance to Cruger Village and features one of only two elevators in residence halls on campus.

    Harold Keen Hall is two wings (North and South) of one large hall along Cruger Island Road.

    Spruce, Mulberry, Maple, and Sycamore are the four residences located along the ravine west of Cruger Village.

    Bartlett and Stephens Houses are small one-story residences at the core of Cruger Village.
  • Hirsch and Tremblay

    This pair of matching residence halls is located on Tremblay lane towards the north terminus of Campus Road.

Cruger Village Neighborhood is guided by a team of nine Peer Counselors, one Lead Peer Counselor, and an Area Coordinator.  Reach out to these folks for anything you need. If they can't help, they can at least lead you in the right direction!

Residential Evening Support Time

Also known as REST.
  • REST in Cruger Village

    Residential Evening Support Time (REST) is a time when residents can find a Peer Counselor in their area of campus via call, text, or drop-in.  Daily from 9p-12a, Cruger Village residents can call to find the PC on REST who will be lounging in a common room on south campus.

    Located in the basement of the Village A dorm, the Center for Spiritual Life is the primary programming space for the Bard College Chaplaincy.

    Sawkill Coffeehouse
    In the heart of Cruger Village sits a student run coffee house.  While the coffee house hours vary, the space is open 24/7 with access to a small computer lab, meeting room, and lounge space.
