Student lab monitors

A student lab monitor is expected to maintain the computer labs that are overseen by the HelpDesk, including tasks such as keeping the printers unjammed, arranging chairs and keyboards in an orderly fashion, keeping printers full with paper, handling basic troubleshooting questions from students, faculty and staff using the lab, and ensuring labs that close and open do so at the appropriate times.

To apply to become a lab monitor, please fill out this application and email it to [email protected], or print it out and deliver it to the Help Desk in the New Henderson building.

Student monitors can log on here.

Student Technicians

Student technicians employed by the Helpdesk are expected to assist with the day to day operations of the campus, being on-call in the New Henderson building and traveling to locations where assistance is needed as directed by Helpdesk staff. A drivers license is required and decent technical skills are a must, being able to troubleshoot printer jams, a basic understanding of virus removal and the ability to research problems are regularly required.

If you are interested in applying to become a technician, please fill out this application and deliver it to the Helpdesk in the New Henderson building.
